Do you practice the Zen of window cleaning? Dry your laundry on an outdoor clothesline in order to commune with nature? Envision each empty dinner plate a blank canvas for your next masterpiece? Follow a fitness routine with religious fervor?

Not exactly?

Me either.  But I do try. I get in the kitchen and concoct crazy dishes that kids won’t eat (but that will somehow win the occasional recipe contest). I save energy by unplugging wherever and whenever I can. I get up Saturday morning, blast the radio and clean with the highest level of energy I possess all week (also counts as my exercise routine).

When it comes right down to it, life is pretty much a parade of ordinary days, with work to be done outside and inside the home. So why not approach the domestic demands of cooking, laundry, and yes, even cleaning, with the same creativity you do in other areas of your life?

Yes, these products are sleek and modern and gorgeous in and of themselves. But it’s the way that people enjoy using them that really makes them shine.
